Oxygen Permeability Tester | ISO 15105-2, ASTM D3985

Oxygen Permeability Tester precisely measures the oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of PP, PET, PE, PVC, BOPP, CPP films, as well as laminated and metallized materials. Compliant with ISO 15105-2, ASTM D3985, and ASTM F1927 standards.

Standards

  • ISO 15105-2: Plastics – Determination of oxygen transmission rate of films and sheets
  • ASTM D3985: Plastics – Oxygen transmission rate (OTR) testing
  • ASTM F1927: Oxygen permeability testing for films and packaging materials

The Oxygen Permeability Tester is designed for the precise measurement of oxygen transmission rates (OTR) in films and sheets. Manufactured in compliance with ISO 15105-2, ASTM D3985, and ASTM F1927 standards, this device is ideal for determining the oxygen barrier properties of plastic films such as PP, PET, PE, PVC, BOPP, CPP, as well as metallized and laminated materials.

Featuring 3 independent test stations, the tester allows simultaneous measurement of the same or different samples. Its low gas consumption, special low flow system, and 0.00001 ppm sensor resolution enable highly accurate measurements from low- to high-barrier materials. The intelligent electronics and software system automates the testing process, providing real-time graphs, analysis, and reporting.
