Hydrostatic Pressure Testing Machine (Special R&D and Production)

Hydrostatic internal pressure testing evaluates the strength, sealing, and long-term performance of walled containers such as plastic pipes, automotive tanks, and fire extinguishers. By applying pressurized liquid over a set period, this internal pressure test helps determine product durability and resistance to deformation and leakage.

Hydrostatic internal pressure testing is a test method used to evaluate the strength, leak-tightness, and performance of walled containers (such as plastic pipes, automotive tanks, fire extinguishers, etc.). This test is conducted by applying water (or another liquid) pressure to the product. During the test, pressurized liquid is pumped into the object and kept under pressure for a specific period. Throughout this time, the object is examined according to specific criteria to assess its strength, deformation, leak-tightness, or other performance characteristics.

A hydrostatic pressure test device is a piece of equipment specially designed to carry out this test. These devices include a pump system that delivers pressurized liquid into the object, pressure gauges, and usually a valve system that controls the pressure applied to the tested object. Additionally, measurement tools that monitor pressure drops to detect leaks may also be included for leak-tightness testing.

Hydrostatic pressure testing in pipes is a widely used application to evaluate the durability and leak-tightness of pipelines. When a new pipeline is constructed or when maintenance or repair is performed on an existing line, hydrostatic pressure testing can be applied. This test is an important method to check pipeline tightness, detect unwanted leaks, determine if the pipeline can withstand a specific pressure, and ensure it can be safely used.

Plastic Pipe Manufacturing – Testing the compliance of pressure-resistant plastic pipes with relevant standards.

Construction and Infrastructure Sector – Verifying the resistance of plastic pipes used in water and gas transportation systems against internal pressure.

Natural Gas and Water Distribution Companies – Ensuring the long-term safety of plastic materials used in pipeline systems.

Automotive and Transportation Sector – Standard testing and burst tests of plastic components, liquid and gas tanks used in fuel and fluid transport systems and air brake systems.

White Goods Manufacturers – Measuring the pressure performance of plastic pipes used in appliances with water connections.

Packaging and Food Industry – Testing the internal pressure resistance of plastic packaging used to transport liquid food and beverages.

Testing Laboratories and Certification Bodies – Used in tests conducted to certify product compliance with national and international standards.

This device plays a critical role particularly in the quality control of plastic pipes and fittings. It provides clear data on the lifespan and durability of materials by performing long-term tests under pressure. It is an indispensable testing instrument both in quality assurance processes during production and in product development activities.
